NAM ON STEROIDS - VST3/AU Plugin and Standalone
Expanded version of the popular Gateway plugin (ex Neural Amp Modeler) by Steve Atkinson which loads and plays NAM models.
What it offers more than Gateway:
-
Oversampling (up to 32x): allows to get rid of aliasing by using a novel oversampling technique called "Time-scaled convolution".
Besides classic upsampling-filter-downsampling, Wavenet convolution-based models require to have dilations and other internal parameters multiplied by the oversampling rate to not produce aliasing and sound correct.
- Separate oversampling and anti-alias filter settings for realtime playback and offline rendering.
-
Multi-core support: spreads the CPU load across all available cores when using oversampling.
-
Stereo processing: you can choose to process the signal in stereo, this applies the same NAM model, IR and settings to both channels, but keeps them separate for true stereo processing.
- Customizable tonestacks: you can switch between different tonestacks based on schematics of popular amps/pedals/outboard gear to change how the EQ controls behave.
You can also customize them by changing component values.
-
Pre/post EQ switch: move the tonestack processing pre or post NAM model.
-
Filters: low-cut and high-cut filters with indipendent slope and pre/post settings.
-
Boost: 12 dB of additional gain at the input of the model.
-
Presets: 128 internal presets that can freely be named and recalled via MIDI Program Changes.
- Remote parameters control: assign (or learn) a custom CC message to any of the main parameters of the plugin.
- Noise gate detector placed before the gain control: so you don't need to adjust the threshold each time you change the input gain setting.
-
Theme color selector: you can freely change the color of all coloured elements in the GUI.
You can also make the color follow the track color in your DAW project.
- A simple and handy tuner
Available for Windows and Mac as plugin and standalone
